Flexible Workforce Developments Fund

Employers in the West Highlands who currently make payment to the Apprenticeship Levy can partner with West Highland College UHI to deliver in-work skills training for their staff.  In order to do this, businesses have until 15th December 2017 to apply for up to £10,000 of funding from the Flexible Workforce Development Fund, with funding available for organisations in the private, public and third sectors.  Employers will be able to train members of their workforce, but are encouraged to give consideration to specific groups such as older workers, those in low skilled jobs, those working regularly with younger workers/apprentices, veterans/early service leavers and those identified as belonging to equality groups.  There’s more detail about the funding HERE.

If you would like to know more about the application process please contact  Roddy.
