Working for Business in the Outdoor Capital of the UK

Lochaber Hope are hosting a business showcase in conjunction with Lochaber Chamber of Commerce

Lochaber Hope has been working with personal development for over 12 years. Our aim is to help support human resources within your company.

We provide support in a number of ways to increase productivity and help avoid workplace conflict.  We offer counselling for employees experiencing difficult periods in their lives which affects their work.  Through our Employer’s Assistance Programme, we work with individuals to combat depression and stress.  In addition, we offer workplace mediation to bring about mutual resolution, thus avoiding costly, legal solutions.  We seek to minimise absenteeism by providing crisis and trauma counselling following incidents, accidents and suicides which adversely affect employees.

Our training programmes cover a wide range of subjects such as team development, mental health and well-being, balancing work with leisure, vision and future planning.  Through our Action Learning Sets groups can develop ideas from a new perspective.

A new initiative which is proving very popular is our Women’s Space.  Linked to “Women in the Highlands” (WEA) this provides opportunities for women to develop their skills.

We have a vision to develop a Social Enterprise and would benefit from members input.  We look forward to welcoming you on the 16th of August at our new premises at Dalnahaine.
