Working for Business in the Outdoor Capital of the UK

Nevis Radio Summer Session 2018

Nevis Radio are excited to announce the ‘Nevis Radio Summer session 2018’

We are coming to the centre of Fort William High street in Cameron square on the Saturday 2nd June which is the weekend of the UCI downhill World Cup. With an expected number of over 15,000 extra people in the area we are looking to host a live stage of music from musicians and DJ’s from mid-afternoon with live entertainment and interaction though into the evening to create a Street party the outdoor capital of the UK should have – All broadcast across Lochaber and the world on Nevis Radio.

Nevis is looking to host this event and also work with the retailers in the high street to bring people into the street for the evening – we have already started making inroads into how we are going to market this event with most of the major planning already done.

As a community station and charity – we are also hoping to raise a few pounds from our efforts to assist in keeping Nevis on air and give us the ability to do more in the community like this. To this end we will be looking to have a street collection and we are on the lookout for a headline sponsor for our event.

If you think you would like to see your company as “Nevis Radios Summer session with …..” as 1 of the largest outside broadcasts we will do in the year with potentially a huge audience (in person and on air) please get in touch with Simon on 01397 700 007. It could be 1 or more businesses as every penny we can put in the pot assists the station in its ability to serve Lochaber.  We would love to hear from you!
