Lochaber is home to many iconic Highland landmarks – Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Loch Ness – all of these famous places are part of Lochaber.

The landscape of Lochaber is incredibly varied: from stunning mountain ranges that attract the world’s climbers and walkers to tranquil coastline and small isles that are a mecca for paddlers, sailors and day-trippers.  There is a huge range of landscapes and activities to enjoy. The variations in landscape also create a variety of business opportunities.

This stunning area in the west highlands of Scotland covers 4,634 square kilometres – making it the second largest area in the Highlands region. The population of Lochaber is around 20,000.
