Fort William Town Centre Masterplan: A Vibrant Future for Our Town
Lochaber Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that work is underway to develop a Master Plan and Deliverability Framework for the regeneration of Fort William town centre. This is a key component of the wider work of the Fort William 2040 Vision, which aims to create a thriving and sustainable town for all.
The Master Plan will focus on a number of sites throughout the town centre, with the ambition to:

Improve the quality of the urban environment

Strengthen connections to the Loch

Ensure resilience in the face of the climate emergency

Identify functions that can be introduced to repopulate and reinvigorate the town centre
We believe that Fort William has the potential to be a vibrant and exciting place to live, work, and visit. The Master Plan will help us to achieve this vision by creating a town centre that is:
